Shoe Bee Doo!

You'd have to admit that fancy shoes on tots - especially newborns - aren't really necessary but they are so darn cute (yes, the shoes too!) that sometime it's just too hard to resist... So don't fight it and explore these all time classics and their mini versions! Like those adorable Puma sneakers and their Mom or Dad version. Also, what about these for baby and these for parents? We love Converse's classic Chuck Taylor with their mini-you or "I just arrived!" matching pair. At the Adidas Store we found the coolest Mary Janes for tots - a style that's doing a big come-back this season (as are ballet flats!). Of course the fashionable moms will also find their own pair. Being big Wes Anderson fans at Angelic Genius (remember The Royal Tenenbaums!) we couldn't resist when we stumbled upon this cool track suit and matching shoes for the newest arrival in the family. If you're like us and you really like them here is the girl version, the boy's and the "I don't want to know if it's a girl or a boy" version. If you're more a Nike fan try this or for the New Balance afficionados there's also that! Any would make just the perfect baby shower gift for a sporty family! Another great shower gift this time for the rockstar family is the Frye Crib Booties - sooo hot! Don't forget to pair them with any Angelic Genius Tattoo shirt. We suggest to balance all this cool and attitude with a more traditional and luxurious bottom - like Baby Cz's cashmere pants or knitted cotton with white tipping. To keep the little toes toasty and comfortable our preference goes to Trumpette socks with their playful designs, great packaging and practical advantage of sometimes being sold by the dozen. For the little one who's just starting to learn how to walk there's nothing like the NowaLis - a cool alternative to shoes: half socks and half moccs who comes in a wide variety of styles and colors!

Great news for the hot mammas and their friends (who will be so grateful for the cool tip): the designer Jean-Paul Gaultier has arrived this spring on La Redoute, the French website with the newest trends at the best prices!

Hidden Treasure Chest

Surprising isn't it how there is so much great stuff out there to make your life more simple - in style - that we didn't know existed! Well no worries, the Angelic Genius team is always on the lookout for you! Let's start from the beginning at Organized From The Start you'll find the ingenious Baby Briefcase to take care of all the paperwork and keepsakes that come with a new arrival in the family. To congratulate the new mom and welcome the little one you could get Mommy Tags - an army tag inspired bracelet or necklace, so cool! - personalized with the birth date. They even carry a hip Daddy Tags with a choice of leather or metal available. Practical and pretty is the Nursing Bracelet, a real piece of jewelry that also helps the breastfeeding mom keep track of feedings. For the baby on the go what about the Skip Hop, a stylish diaper bag that fits both on the stroller and over the shoulder! An old time favorite is the now-famous Diaper Dude - every wife should envy their husbands with their great camo fabric bag adorned with a dragon tattoo or a new guitar design. If you prefer a sling - the one stop for the fashionista mom is Rockin' Baby Sling! - try the Walk With Me Blanket that adapts to most slings (unfortunately not the Rockin' ones) and will keep your little angel toasty during those chilly winter months. Another great idea in the blankets department are the Taggies - a cute fleece throw with tags sawn all along the borders - so smart! Baby loves to play with them and it's also a great visual stimulation. We'll finish with the slightly older ones, whose parents will rave about the Pig Pen Designs' placemat with hip designs on one side and a chalkboard on the other. Finally don't forget to check out the Snack Trap because as they say "kids spill things"! For all ages the Fringe Kit welcomes a new arrival: the Baby Fringe Kit a complete kit for baby's first haircut. Enjoy!

In the collar department no mistake is possible with this great classic by Vuitton and matching leash. And if you or one of your friends owns a cog (a dog so small you're not sure if its a cat!) make them look really threatening (yes, we're kidding) with this leather spiked collar. Of course don't forget to check out Post Modern Pets - our favorite stop on the web for anything furniture with lots of style for your four legged friends. And to accesorize any baby outfit don't forget a cool trucker hat - trucker hats are the only ones that stay on babies!
